For a Facial: mix approximately 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons of clay &/or seaweed with enough warm water (or try Rosewater for a gentle treat). Apply a thin layer. When dry, rinse first with warm water, then cool water to close pores.

For a Bath: Add an ounce of clay &/or seaweed to hot water; soak for 20 to 30 minutes. For added benefit, just as you are ready to immerse yourself in tub, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil or therapeutic blend.

Strained Muscle Pack: Prepare a thick clay/seaweed/water mixture, warm in a double boiler and apply to sore area. Cover with plastic or a moist towel. Rinse when dry. This mixture can also be applied to sore and overworked hands.

Foot Soak: Add ½ ounce of clay to a gallon or two of hot water and relax with feet submerged for 15 to 20 minutes.

Insect Stings: Mix a small amount of clay or seaweed into water to create a paste; apply to sting. Wash off after 30 minutes. Slippery Elm Powder is remarkably good for this also & should help remove stinger; splinters, too!
